F*IT Dashboard Design Explorations

Ten competing app-shell + dashboard-home concepts, one shared fixture dataset (Zen Window Cleaning, Friday 3 July 2026). Each is a different organising idea, not a reskin. Desktop-first at 1440px. Full narrative + decisions: VISUAL-DIARY.md.

Round 4 — the converged direction

08 v4 — lead candidate
Map Ops: Altitude Model
Calendar-primary. Month territory ledger is home; WEEK raises the map with ghost pins; DAY is ground level with the full route. Zoom is the only navigation primitive; booking-call mode spans all altitudes.

Round 3 — availability lens (booking-call mode)

Every day cell reads time-fill at a glance (7am-5pm booked vs open); one click drills to bookable slots; a working find-a-slot mode for booking while on the phone.

08 v3 — standout
Map Ops + "Land a job"
Fill-strips on ledger + scrubber; find-a-slot highlights fitting days on both surfaces with candidate start times.
booking-call mode
03 v3
Money Cockpit: capacity as inventory
Open hours priced as unsold stock (95h = ~$17,300); find-a-slot shows what each booking adds to July.
booking-call mode
07 v3
Ask the Office: book mid-call
Ask the Dispatcher while the customer talks; tappable day+time chips pencil a hold awaiting sign-off.

Round 2 — winners, calendar-centric

Rhys's top 3 revised with the schedule as a first-class surface (full July fixture month, $21,340 / 41 jobs). 08 is the standout.

08 v2 — standout
Map Ops: Where + When
Working day-scrubber re-renders the route per day; full-month "territory ledger" overlay with revenue heat, gap days, rain risk.

03 v2
Money Cockpit: Revenue Calendar
The month as a financial instrument - day dollar values, revenue heat, gap days priced as lost capacity.

07 v2
Ask the Office: Dispatcher's Calendar
